ABOUT ME

I was born in Lima - Peru and moved to the United States in 2000. Currently, I live in Fort Worth, TX with my husband and our two children.

Although I have formal education in international marketing and fashion design, I have always been passionate about all things that express my creativity (e.g. modeling, dance, singing, photography). I have been painting since I was a little girl, and through an evolving journey I now specialize in contemporary abstract art as I feel this gives me the most freedom of expression.

I am basically self-taught as a painter. My learning has come from close observation and study of the work of those artists I am drawn to on an intuitive level.

I never stop learning and I am not afraid of exploring, taking risks and experimenting with all kinds of different media. The materials I enjoy working with include a variety of papers, fabric, thread, found objects, charcoal, metal and wood stain.

As an artist it is extremely rewarding for me when just one person is inspired by what they see.

I consider myself blessed to be doing what I love to do!

WHAT INSPIRES ME

I am inspired by my hopes and dreams, as well as the stories which are inside of me. Additionally, my inspiration comes from my life experiences, state of soul, emotion, and moments in time that I wish to capture.

I like to paint what I feel and think, and not what I can strictly see.
